actually this event happened last fri
but i was just too busy to post.

went to Singapore General Hospital (SGH)
to do some monthly voluntary work
and that was my first time theree
and i was shocked
THE WARDS ARE VERY STUFFY!!

gosh... its like an SONA!!
i was waiting for the patient and was just in the ward for 5 mins

and i sweated as though i just ran 1.6km..
and the nurse told me that
" you are only here for 5 mins. imagine us working here everday!"

in the movies and dramas the ward are always air-con-ed..
the hospital really gave me an eerie feeling..
showed me life and death
and how fragile life is..
it gave me a picture of how i MIGHT turn out to be years later..
now i know why so many directors in the world wants to film horror movies
in a hospitals..
ITS JUST GIVE ME THE CHILLS!!
haha
but all these things were worth it
when a relative of the patient that i was taking care of
thanked me. and told me how appreciative she was for
students like us to come and spend our time to show our concern for the patient..
